I was talking to Gail and she told me that this
past weekend she was invited to have lunch at  a
doctor’s house. I asked, how was it? And she said,
well, we had a good time but I was surprised to
see that they still use margarine.

We’ve talked about this before but I don’t know
if, for any reason, you missed it or worse, you forgot
about it and still are eating margarine.

It’s a shame that doctors who should be the ones
telling people what’s best for them and why, ignore
simple facts that can make the life of others much
healthier.

That’s why when I hear that people put 100 percent
of their faith in what doctors say I frown.

I think each of us should take responsibility and
keep learning as much as possible about health, our own
body, how it works, what the best food choices for
us are and so on.

Anyway, just wanted to make sure that you are aware
of this common enemy that has been touted as a healthy
food. What’s more, not only margarine but many of
those ‘heart-friendly’ foods that you see in the
supermarket are far, far away from healthy.

Yeap.

Even if the margarine says that it contains no trans
fats, that doesn’t mean that it hasn’t been made with
unstable vegetable oils that turn rancid quickly
which are very bad for you. They are full of free radicals
and you know better what free radicals can do to your
body, ah.

On the other hand, these ‘healthy’ margarines also
contain substances that are toxic. Margarine color is
grey so it has to be bleached to make it look
appetizing.

Ah, and what about the smell…

Substances similar to soap are mixed with margarine to
get rid of the unpleasant odor.

If you have a tube of margarine sitting on your
refrigerator this very moment please get rid of it and
replace it with something much, much healthier, butter.

But not any butter.

You want organic butter that has no pesticides and
which provides many health benefits.

ORGANIC butter:

* Is a rich source of vitamins A, D, E and K

* Assists the body in the absorption and utilization
of minerals

* Contains a type of fat that has antimicrobial and
antitumor properties and that is used by the body as a
quick energy source.

* Supports the immune system function

* Contains CLA which is a linoleic acid that has
anticancer properties, helps to build muscle and, you’ll
like to hear this one, assists weight loss and weight
maintenance

* Is rich in Selenium, a potent antioxidant and which can
help protect your body against heavy metals. Selenium
also has been shown to boost mood and decrease anxiety.

In a nutshell good fats are good for you, for your body
and even moods.

So, enjoy some organic butter on your bread with no
fear. Butter can be used to cook too; it’s much better
and safer than vegetable oils and canola (which is
another thing they say is healthy but hmmm, it’s not
that much.

Have a wonderful day and keep your eyes open because
next time we’ll talk about a few simple things you can do to
reduce the holidays’ stress while accomplishing more.

To your health and happiness,
